Well, at 3-am here in Arizona, we finally got the Vengeance DLC. After that point, it was another half an hour to download, and then 6 hours trying to figure shit out. So this map is quite impressive. A Ghost town was a spectacular choice for a Zombies map. This map is much more narrow than most. There are dark tunnels, criss-crossing walkways and roads. This map took a lot a thinking to get around. Even now, after 6 hours of continuous gameplay, there are still some things I don't understand. I will keep updating this page as I realize what things I post need more information
So what is in this new level? Well...
First off, the map has an extremely long introduction, which has much more detail than the previous cut-scenes. The "Rift" that Buried is set at appears to be the site of one of the nukes dropped by Richtofen during the events on Moon.
The characters also say much more than previous maps. Conversations between Russman and Richtofen are much more audible, and in-depth.
The "New" Character for Buried is interesting. He's VERY big. He's around 9 feet tall, and seems a bit dumb. He's locked inside a jail-cell in the main part of town. When you first visit him, the key that unlocks his cell is right beside the door. You grab it, and then you unlock jail door. He cowers, visibly scared. There is a big bottle with the letters "XXX" on it. It says "Take Booze" You give him the Booze, causing him to freak out, and smash debris that is in the way. There are multiple places with debris that cannot be bought, but smashed by your overall-wearing 9 foot tall friend. This is also the only way to access Juggernog, Pack a Punch, and the NEW Perk Machine. Booze will randomly spawn in the Saloon and in the Jail Cell, and you can also buy it sometimes from the register for 1000 points. The trick to picking what you want him to destroy is to face it while you give him the booze. There is also candy, that can be retrieved from the sweet store that you can feed him, that makes him do several things for you.
Here's the list of things a sugar rush can do:
If you give it to him by itself he'll attack nearby zombies, following you.
If you give it to him near a crawler, he'll pick it up and follow you with it. Shoot him and he will drop it.
If you give it to him near a build-able desk, he will fetch all the parts and build it himself, unless you shoot him, or unless you have one of the parts in your possession.
If given near the mystery box, he will punch it, making it unable to roll a Teddy Bear.
If given when you have hit the box and have not grabbed the weapon, he will punch the box and make it re-roll.
If given at a box point that does not have the box, he will run off to fetch the box for you, bringing it to the spot.
If given near the subsurface resonator, he will fetch a turbine to power it.
If given near a power-up, he will change it.
If given near a chalk-gun, he'll find a random place to put it.
Make sure that you DO NOT shoot him though. He will run back into the cell, shutting the door behind him. If you have booze or candy, you can chase him, beat him to the cell, and show him you have the ingredients. He'll then reconsider locking himself up. If he DOES lock himself up, there are 5 locations for the key.
The Sheriff's building, beside the jail.
The Court room, hanging off of the area where someone would testify.
The Bank, behind the counter where you deposit.
Any of the rooms on the 2nd floor of the Saloon.
The end of the maze, next to Pack-A-Punch

There are lots of new features. New guns, Wonder Weapons, and a new Perk.
There is customized HUD, like MotD, but with a more western gold feel.
The Bank and Fridge both return for this map, containing whatever was held in previous Tranzit games.
There's the all-new Ray Gun, the Ray Gun Mark 2. This is more of an assault version of the Ray Gun, and is 3 round burst. This is quite good at clearing out paths in circle trains. It also has no back-fire. It's almost impossible to kill yourself with it. (Thank God) This new Ray Gun has been added to all the maps, and has made maps like Tranzit much easier, now that there is a wonder weapon in the box.
There is also another WonderGun, only available on Buried, called the Paralyzer. This weapon has no ammunition, but over heats. when it starts, it slows down the zombies until they don't move, and then they disintegrate. It also can be used to fly into the air, when pointed at the ground. Be careful not to fly too high, because the drop will kill you if you are not careful. There are also several red glass orbs around the map. Shoot these with the Paralyzer, and they will shine brightly. This is part of the Easter Egg, (which I have not had a part of doing quite yet. Next post will be the story).
There is a new Perk Machine only available on Buried. It is called Vulture Aid. It has many effects. It works almost like the Engineer, and Scavenger perk from multiplayer. You can see where all of the perks are by their symbols through the walls, along with wall guns and build-able desks. The same is for the box as well, which appears as two question marks. Along with showing where things are in the map, it makes it so some of the zombies drop, small golden power-ups, that give small amounts of points, and some ammunition. Some zombies also appear to have a green fog surrounding them. When these zombies are killed, they drop a green spot of mist that is close in resemblance to the Meat Power-Up from Grief. When stood upon, it will make you invisible to all zombies, and they will run off. The amount of time it lasts changed based off of the amount of teammates in the game.
This map comes with a new special opponent, the 'Mistress". This is an unofficial title given by the players. But this girl, appearing to be in her early twenties, occupies the mansion, right next to the Chapel. The only way to access the mansion is to have you giant friend bust the barrier of lights and coffins in front of it. When outside the house, you can see the girl in the windows of house. When looked upon, she will vanish from the window, and appear in another. It cost 1250 to get into the house, and once in, there is a split. You can go to the right, where there is only an empty room for Double Tap Root Beer. Or you can turn left up the stairs. Here, one of two things can happen. She will appear around the corner up the stairs. She takes very little to kill, all that is needed is several bullets. If she hits you, she'll do about half the damage of a normal zombie, but she'll take 2000 points per hit, so refrain from being hit. (The paralyzer will temporary take away her ability to take points, but it is extremely ineffective at killing her) Kill her, and the bookshelf will open up, revealing a hole in the wall, and she will come out again. Kill her, then quickly go behind the bookshelf. Behind the bookshelf is a hallway to the right, and the mistress will then again appear at the end of it. Kill her, and run through the hole in the wall. There will be yet again, another hallway where she will appear. Kill her again, but now jump down the hole in the wall where a tree stump protrudes. You jump down, and as you get out of the mansion, there is the maze. At this point the Mistress should no longer be following you, UNLESS, the other thing happens. Every 4-5 rounds, when you enter the house, a full Mistress round will start. Meaning that they will spawn all over the map, not unlike Hellhounds. This will remove all regular zombies in the process, making her spawn everywhere The more people in the game, the more will spawn. In most cases, everyone loses all their points. But the reward for one of these rounds is Random Perk Bottle, so it makes up for the lack of money by the end.
After going through the mansion, a hedge maze on the other side. In the center, there is an open square area with a fountain. (If the fountain is destroyed, it will become a bottomless pit, where you will die.) The maze changes every time, and is somewhat hard to navigate. It is highly suggested that you learn the layout between rounds, when a crawler is present. At the end of the maze, is a gazebo with a pit and stairs. near the bottom is Pack A Punch! But don't go past that, you will fall into a pit, and die. (Made that mistake) When leaving the maze, go back into the house on the right side, and go through the mansion, same as when you entered. The Mistress will come again one at a time, until you reach the dirt tunnel, leading to the Sweet Shop.
