Xbox ONE Revealed with Call of Duty: Ghosts!

This morning, Microsoft revealed the information for the Next-Gen Xbox: Xbox One

This new system has gone to massive lengths to improve and impress the gaming world. This system truly is a massive feat. Here are some of the things that was released:

Every Xbox One will come with the new Xbox Kinect. Kinect will have a 1080p camera, with upgraded voice recognition and more motion controls. This will make for a less choppy experience when trying to tell your Xbox to do certain actions for you. Some Kinect fans from the Xbox 360 were not too happy about it's performance.

Xbox One is boasting some nice hardware specs. 500GB Hard-Drive, 8GB Ram, HDMI Input-Output, USB 3.0, and an 8-core CPU.

Everyone was kind of expecting Microsoft to follow the curve of WiiU and PS4, and add a touch-screen to their remotes. Xbox did not follow that path, but has streamlined their controller and upgraded it. It has an integrated battery compartment, so you no longer have that large rectangular hump along the back. The controllers also have integrated Wi-Fi, new directional pad and new "Impulse" force-feedback triggers.

In the reveal, Marc Whitten makes his appearance to state the specs and technology behind Xbox One. He says that Xbox One basically runs on 3 different operating systems. One that uses the high-graphics and gameplay for the user, one that uses a specialized system of Windows, that allows the user to do web-based apps, and web browsing capabilities. The last one is an operating system that links them together, making it extremely fast to multitask, and move from one application to another.

In this system it will remember your favorite apps, games, and movies, and set them highest on the page for you to use. This system will even let you do multiple tasks at once, such as watch a movie and Skype or browse the web or check fantasy football games. The new system is designed to run many things at once, without lag or interference. Marc Whitten also says that they now have over 300,000 servers running for the new Xbox Live. This will make it easier to play games and run web-based apps with no waiting time or lag.

EA Sports (The only thing EA can do without totally ruining)  is making a special contract with Microsoft and Xbox Live, and is making several games exclusive to the Xbox One. Forza Motorsports is also doing this with their next game, Forza 5. The detail in the graphics and the feel of the games are extremely impressive. Nothing shows off graphics on game systems better than a good racing game.

But the crown jewel of this event is Call of Duty: Ghosts. My expectations for this game were low. MW3 was a total bust, and seemed to be a step down from MW2, and was puny in comparison to Black Ops/Black Ops 2. But Infinity Ward is really stepping it up for this new game, with all new characters and an all new engine. The game is supposed to have a more emotional connection to the settings and characters. There is also a new addition to your team: a K9 that sniffs out bombs and warns when enemies are near. There are also some new additions to the physicality of the game. You can lean around corners, to look for enemies without exposing your whole body. You will now be able to jump right over lower objects, without losing your momentum. In previous games, you literally had to climb on top of a wall the size of your hip to get over it. But now you can just leap right over it without wasting your time. Another movement they are adding to Ghosts is almost like Black Ops's diving maneuver, but is a slide. This will allow you to duck out of the line of site very quickly, and may make online games a little more interesting. Along with all these great additions, Ghosts comes with fantastic new graphics and better AI. In multiplayer, you'll be able to customize your character to your liking. In previous games, you were able to customize colors and themes for your weapons. Now you will be able to customize the whole package. It is unknown whether or not this is purely aesthetic, or if it affects your stats, such as agility and strength. This game looks like it will be a fantastic come back for Infinity Ward, and I can't wait to see what's in store for us at E3!

Black Ops Zombies PRO's Merging

Hey everybody! After almost a year of extremely successful zombies reviewing, I'll be moving my site over to a different website program. Black Ops Zombies PRO is now nearly #1 on Google searches for searches such as Die Rise and Mob of the Dead. But unfortunately, Blogger does not have as many features as some other web hosts, and I am going to merge over. Not to worry, this page will STAY. But it will no longer be updated. If you'd like to keep up with me and join in on the game, visit Richtofen's Adventures! There I will continue posting information on Call of Duty DLCs, and new upcoming games and strategies. This new site will introduce Multiplayer strategies and more Call of Duty games. Thank you SO much for being such faithful readers. Black Ops Zombies PRO hit 34,000 views yesterday! Let's make Richtofen's Adventures just as popular! Love you, and thank so much you guys!
