Black Ops VS Black Ops 2
Today, I decided I wanted to replay some of the old Zombies maps on the the first game. I even livestreamed it, the video is at my Twitch account, Black Ops Zombies Pro.
First, I played Call of the Dead, which personally is my all-time favorite map. It has the Scavenger (my all-time favorite gun) and has a huge multitude of circle spots, and even a few out of map glitches. I hadn't played the first game since the new game came out, so it had been quite a while. The things I noticed that separate these games..:
First, I played Call of the Dead, which personally is my all-time favorite map. It has the Scavenger (my all-time favorite gun) and has a huge multitude of circle spots, and even a few out of map glitches. I hadn't played the first game since the new game came out, so it had been quite a while. The things I noticed that separate these games..:
- Power-Ups, such as Insta-Kill and Nuke, are a little glitchy in the sequel. In the first game, when you got insta-kill, you never had to double take after shooting a zombie. You knew it was dead. In this new game, it seems you have to get a dead-on shot in the chest for it to count. And with nuke, zombies can still kill you after nuke goes off. In the first game, if the zombies were really far away from where the nuke was grabbed, they would run into you and stare at you, but never actually hurt you. Eventually their heads would pop off and you'd be on your merry way. But in the new game, they can still kill/attack you before they die. Or they will explode, causing more damage.
- Trains in the new game are more difficult too, except in NukeTown Zombies. Jumping over the lava can be a serious pain, and the explosions can hurt you even when you aren't getting hit from the zombies. Another major pain is the fact that on round 16, some "Walking zombies" spawn. In the first game, once you hit a certain round, all the zombies would sprint, making it very easy to train them in a circle. Now, the slow-moving zombies seriously get in your way, and can even trap you in a hallway. The first game had more space to circle, but TranZit has some spots with huge amounts of space.
- LMGs in Black Ops 2 are WAY better. Not only is there more of them, (Only in NukeTown, though) but they are far more powerful. The RPD has a similar name to the RPK, but the power and ammo differences are not even close. The RPD has a huge amount of power, even at extremely high rounds, and the ammunition is close to a thousand rounds after P.A.P. Even the HAMR has a good fire rate, but is a major spray and pray gun. The shots go nearly everywhere, unless you have a fore grip attached onto it. The LSAT is definitely the best though, the large clip, with massive power and a fast fire rate and a steady shot..beats the rest by a long shot.
- Maps are definitely better in the first game though. They have more background, more detail. You know, I figured the newer game would have better graphics in zombies, but it appears they kind of got worse. They aren't as scenic as the old game. Ascension had a huge towering rocket that would fire into the air, with a huge desolate wasteland and huge sky view of the map when using the landers, Call of the Dead had a huge icy mountain, snow, an ocean, a crashed ship with a light house. Shangri-La had to have the best background with the gorgeous sunset/sunrise (unknown, sun in lower portion of sky), ancient statues and mountain valleys and gems. Moon even had the vastness of space itself with lunar rocks and a god-damn Moon Base. But now we're rolling around on a glitchy bus, unable to see 4 feet in front of ourselves, the few spots being farm houses and a small chunk of a small town 50s-era scene. NukeTown is nice, but it's still not as big as it should be. At least you can see what's in front of you.

Die Rise List from JbIrd
A few details about the new ZOMBIES map soon to be released, "DIE RISE" This list was made by JbIrd JustIn!
DIE RISE
-This map will feature a series of crumbling skyscrapers and tall buildings.
-They are adding the element of vertical game play into zombies, which means there is going to be alot of things to jump to and off of and a lot of things involving heights .
-They are also going to be combining the open areas of game play, such as a map like Ascension, with narrow and corridors like Shangri-La.
-The map is going to be very much like a maze and you are going to get confused very easily, and there are also dangerous areas on this new map such as open elevators which you could fall into and potentially die from.
-It is also going to be very surreal in nature. So you aren't always going to know which side is up or down. It's like a very confusing puzzle.
-At one part of the trailer, you can see that the guy who is playing has over 90,000 thousand points on round! which obviously shows that the bank is going to be returning. This probably also means that things like the fridge and build-able will be returning in Tranzit mode as well. (I agree with JustIn, but the makers also have full control over the setting and may have just added that much money on the start to test out all parts of the map quickly.)
-You can also see meteors falling down from the sky, which reminded me of how the perks and pack a punch fly in on NukeTown Zombies, so maybe the same thing will happen on this new map "Die Rise"
-They also are very kind to us in this trailer because they show us where the power is. It doesn't look like you're going to have to build power this time which is a good thing, and it appears to be in some type of sewing machine factory, so be on the lookout for that when the map is released.
TURNED:
-In this mode you are going to try to make mayhem while trying to kill the one lone survivor
-And if you yourself are able to kill the one man standing, then you will actually respawn as a human fighting against hordes of zombies, whether they will be the bots which we are all use to, or the humans playing as zombies which will be smarter than the "dumb" zombies we are use to in unknown.
-All the game play that is showed for the new Turned mode is on Diner, so maybe it is finally going to become its own map just like town and farm, and maybe we will be able to play it in survival as well.
-The only guns we can see the human use are the M1911 and the Olympia, which kinda makes sense, because if you could pack a punch or get powerful wonder weapons, then the zombies would never be able to kill you, so there probably no box or anything maybe just some wall weapons. (I noticed that too, but maybe it still goes in rounds, and the people playing as zombies get stronger and stronger if the person playing as the human is really good)
-It seems like whenever you kill zombies in this game mode, instead of just normally dying, they seem to become filled with electricity. it reminded me of how the hellhounds spawn in zombies.
-When you are playing as the zombie, it doesn't look like you are going to be able to run or have any special attacks you can do or anything, you just seem like a normal zombie who can be easily killed. (Can't wait!)

NEW MAP PACK DETAILS RELEASED
Finally!! IT'S HERE! And surprisingly, I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT. Hydro is a dam, with a causeway that floods and kills you if you're in the way. Grind is a SKATEPARK. This map looks unbelievably amazing, and may be more popular than NukeTown 2025. DownHill is a ski resort, with gondolas and very, very long range open fighting. And for Mirage, I was totally right. It's an ancient, sanded in, Chinese city. This map looks stunning. It look fantastic. I can't wait. Now..for the REAL goodies. ZOMBIES. The new 'Die Rise' is almost totally vertical. You have to jump up and down platforms, and some of the areas look like an MC Escher drawing. ALONG with this totally magnificent new zombies map comes the ALL NEW ZOMBIES GAME MODE.."Turned"...Everyone plays the zombies, and one person plays someone with a gun. When you, the zombie, kills the person, you turn into the person with the gun, (like 'Juggernaut" from MW3) fending off your friends, who are now a rotting carcass. WATCH THE VIDEO. IN HD. IT'S RIGHT HERE. WATCH. NOW.
Tower Of Babble: Achieved!
Finally, after much delay, I have finished the Tower Of Babble TranZit Easter Egg! I did the Maxis path with four people, but I've heard that Richtofen's way is a little more difficult. I'll explain how you do Maxis's path.
First, you go to the power room, and start the power. You listen to both Maxis and Richtofen, and pick which quest you'd like to do. Wait for Maxis to finish talking, and then shut the power off again. Next you want 2 people to have a turbine, and one person to retrieve the EMP grenades from the Mystery Box. After all is had, head to the cornfields, in between Farm and Power. On the left side (when traveling via bus) will have several openings into the maze. Do not go right, the right side is Nacht Untoten. Once in the maze, you should eventually get to a point when you're directly underneath the electrical tower, and the Denizens do not come for you anymore. This small circle is where you want to wait. It is best to do this part with a good amount of ammunition and fire power, because you may have to hold out a few rounds, like we did. Once the Thunder Storm is directly over the tower, and you kill the last zombies of the round, the Electrical Zombie will appear. 2 people must set their turbines down, and once the Electric Zombie is underneath the tower, throw an EMP grenade to kill him. Do NOT use Galvaknuckles. Once you've done this, have another 2 people (or the same people) leave and set turbines at Town, and Diner. Try to set them both at the same time. The light at Diner is right in front of the shed where you use a turbine to open the door to get a bus equipment piece. This one is easy to place a turbine in front of, because of the lack of Denizens. The Town light is in the fog, just past the building with Juggernog (the path the bus takes to get back to the Depot) It's not that far into the fog, and is before the lava. Use your mics to time the setting of the turbines together, UNDERNEATH the light posts, as close to it as possible. And, if everything is done right, you should get a notification for the Tower Of Babble Achievement! 75G! It was a lot easier than I expected, and if you get some good players in the match, you'll have it down in no time!

Revolution Map Pack LEAKED
This image has been leaked from some small game store owner, it's unknown who it was. But this picture looks very real. It's great that Call Of Duty has caught up with the times, adding new guns to the DLCs. Basing this off of the pictures, here is what I think this is going to be like:
"Hydro" seems to be a map based around a dam, first fact being it's called Hydro, the Greek term for water. Second, the man in the picture seems to be looking up at something pretty high up. I don't know about you, but every dam I've seen is pretty big. Third, the wall behind the man is slightly curved, making me also lean towards this idea.
"Grind" appears to be a skate/bike park. I base this idea off of the fact that there is a half-pipe in the background, and the wall next to the closest man in the image is strewn with graffiti. This would be a fun idea for a tense, close quarters, open contact map.
"Mirage" appears to be a map based in Afghanistan or China. I only said Afghanistan because some of the Campaign is there, but the buildings in the background seem to resemble ancient Chinese architecture, like the map "Courtyard" from World At War (If you can remember) The garb the man in this picture is wearing is also close to what the characters in Yemen and Turbine wear, but not quite as shading, making me think the area is relatively close but not quite a desert.
"DownHill" is obviously a snow map, but has very little details to pick at. It may be like the map "Summit" from the first game, but there is very little to go off of for ideas. All these maps show the DLCs are going in the right direction.
"Die Rise" is obviously a play on words for the term "High Rise", meaning a tall building, and also looks slightly like the name "Der Reise". The Zombies appear to be soldiers, based off of their attire. There is what looks like a flash/EMP grenade strapped to his chest, and large shoulder pads. The background of the image shows off a large city, in the daytime, hopefully meaning they got rid of the "Fog" in the maps. This probably means a more scenic map, and more space. The map may be working your way and buying doors towards the top of a building you need, or maybe the opposite, escaping the building.
The new SMG looks promising, and it's definitely time they started adding weapons to the DLCs. Hopefully this will be released soon! I'm already on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

My First Video!
Nothing fancy, it IS two AM though. The first segment is a later game, and the second part is just a fun clip, making sure everything work correctly. I really do enjoy the Remington, I feel it is the best feeling shotgun in the game, although not the most powerful. Yes, I know I died stupidly. Watching back to see what you did really makes you think about how you play. I'll post more soon, I've got 57GB of this stuff. Subscribe! I'll be posting WAY more bad-ass videos soon!
